The Flagging Division recently announced the internal promotion of two RWIC professionals. Daniel Coronado was named Western Region Union Pacific (UP) Supervisor of Operations.  In this position, Daniel will provide flagging leadership for teams working in California, Nevada, Arizona, Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Montana. Daniel has five years of railroad experience, including four years as a Signal Maintainer for UP. w w James Blackshear was promoted to UP Supervisor of Operations in the Southern Region.  James will work with flagging teams in the states of Texas, Louisiana, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and New Mexico. Sam Lopez Jr. Promoted to Manager of CIC Operations – UPRR

RailPros is proud to announce the promotion of Sam Lopez Jr. to Manager of CIC Operations – Southern Region for the Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR). In this new position, Sam will run operations with new and existing customers to UPRR in addition to ensuring overall smooth operation. Sam came to RailPros in March of 2016 and now has over a decade of hands-on railroad experience. He previously worked for UPRR as a Signalman/Signal Maintainer, ensuring the safety and highest performance of railroad signal systems. In-house Promotion Provides Key RWIC Leadership

RailPros is pleased to announce the promotion of John Green to Field Supervisor for Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR). In his new position, John will be assisting the UPRR Property Manager in scheduling, quoting, job setup approval, payroll approval, RWIC audits, and other responsibilities, as needed. John came to RailPros in early 2018 with more than six years of hands-on railroad experience.  He previously worked for UPRR as a Signalman/Signal Maintainer ensuring the optimum performance of railroad signal systems. RailPros welcomes Mark A. Martin, PE, as Director of Engineering Services.  In this position, Mark will provide leadership and development for RailPros’ Midwest region as our rail design lead. Mark comes to RailPros with more than 30 years of project management, design, and construction experience in the railroad, transit, highway, and pipeline industries.  He has worked with railroads, transportation authorities, and Department of Transportations (DOTs) in developing integrated bus, LRT, commuter, and intercity rail systems. We are pleased to announce that Erika Bruhnke has joined the RailPros team as Vice President of Training Services. In this new position, Erika will provide leadership and development for RailPros’ entities – Roadway Worker Training (RWT) and Focal Point, along with managing the RailPros Southeast Business Unit. Erika is an experienced Class 1 railroad professional and has served over ten years with BNSF. Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority Awards Flagging Contract to RailPros

RailPros was recently awarded a two year contract to provide Advanced Mobile Flagging (AMF) for the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA). Under this new contract, RailPros will provide flagging services for track workers and maintenance activities in close proximity to the railroad right-of-way throughout the WMATA system.  RailPros anticipates training and dispatching a team of 30-50 employees to provide these safety protection services for WMATA. New Employees Provide Leadership for the RailPros Team

The RailPros Safety Team continues to grow with the addition of Carolyn Hemrick.  Carolyn will serve as the DOT/FRA Compliance Specialist. She is responsible for the day-to-day management of the RailPros FRA/FTA and company drug and alcohol testing programs ensuring compliance with federal regulations and company policies. She will also play an important role in ensuring compliance with CFR 213, 214, 217, and 243. Carolyn has held similar leadership roles at BNSF Railways and CSX. RailPros Welcomes Kelly Giblin

RailPros is pleased to announce the addition of Kelly Giblin as Director of Engineering for our expanding Northeast division.  Kelly is the former Chief Engineer, Design & Environmental Services, at NJ TRANSIT Corp. RailPros Introduces Aziz Aman

Welcome Aziz Aman, PE, RailPros newest Senior Structure/Utility Manager.  Before coming to RailPros, Aziz enjoyed a 21-year career at Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR). He managed bridge construction of railroad-funded projects for the western region recently and managed Structure Design of public funded Grade Separation Projects across 23 states in the past. He developed the original UPRR/BNSF Grade Separation Guidelines and worked on the Shoring and Demolition Guidelines.
